Agreed that although expensive, it is actually a good value; all things considered.

My only question for Nordic is whether the SureFire 618 is the older model shown in the posted picture or the newer 1000 lumen version with the smaller diameter bezel (below).

You can change out the heads on them to get more lumens.

Not in the description from Remington Defense...These come with a Mesa Tactical SureShell® Aluminum Carrier (6-Shell),
Scatter Gun Technology Ghost Sight, and the Surefire is a model DFS-870.

The Remington Defense website is so dated and generic in its product information. Sad. These are a nice package.

The prices for these Police shotguns is reasonable for what you get. I’ve owned many Police model and Magnum (MCS) Remington shotguns. These are the finest pump action combat shotguns in my opinion.

Spoke with the CDN Rem rep last month. They do not expect to see shipments until 2023 from the “new” Rem Arms.
He has no idea even what models will be offered. So not a lot of info to share sadly.

With the new “Rem Arms” , I’m hoping the 870 Defense versions will be similar to the previous “Bankrupt Ilion, NY” versions. I love my Police 870 18” Fibre Optic sights.
