This part broke on my revolver and I've ordered a new part. Is this an easy part to replace, or something that a genuine gunsmith should look after? I'm new to revolvers and have never disassembled mine, but it looks pretty straight forward when I look at my owner's manual.

Boomer, the hook broke.
pages 17-18 owners manual- proper sized disassembly pin and a hammer and you're away- tap, not bang- if you examine the manual carefully, about all you actually need a smith for is if the timing goes out or barrel replacement- the rest you can get from the manual
