Where to get BHP recoil springs in 2022?

Hi,

Seems that American distributors such as Brownells, Wolff or BHspringsolutions don't ship springs directly to customers in Canada these days. Also, a quick search of in Canada vendors was unsuccessful as well with most showing BHP springs or spring kits out of stock.

Does any know any of any commercially available springs for sale for the BHP in Canada before I check with gunsmiths?

Wolff will ship up to $500 per order to Canada.

BhSpring solutions are a PITA, I asked if they could ship to IRG who can do all the paperwork for export and they said they would only sell if IRG contacted them and ordered for me. Don Williams at the Action works told me Wolff Springs work just fine in BHP's.
 
Another option is the DPM Spring buffer and Springs for FN Hi Power. You have to order from DPM directly and they will ship from Greece. If this is like their other systems, it's good for 15K rounds per external spring and you just replace with longer spring as it wears out.

Wolff is not shipping to Canada and hasn't been for quite while. I have been pestering them every couple months for nearly a year.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS
Due to changes in US Export regulations we are temporarily not accepting international orders at the present time. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding. We hope to begin accepting international orders again in fall 2021

It's irritating because I can't find any changes that affect them and even asked what it is that changed, I received a reply that did not explain.
 
Numrich gun parts still has BHP springs on sale. I double checked about Wolff, they claim there's something going on with their computer systems. I will have to get my US gunsmiths to order extra springs before shipping pistols up.

Yes, they always have some lame excuse and promise of shipping to Canada soon. Been going on like that for over a year, I checked my first email inquiry. I need some very specific springs to finish a project and I have pretty much given up at this point.

If they are BO, order them anyway.
If not on the web site - contact them and they will get you some. Just know exactly what you want.
They do special order.might take a month but you will get them.

I placed a parts order with Numrich at the beginning of January and received my order in just under 3 weeks time. Order did include a spring but for a rifle but I don't think it maters as long as it's not a prohibited part.
 
I was told that Wolff Springs allowed their export permit to lapse when Covid hit and haven’t renewed it yet. I haven’t been able to confirm that yet but it sounds as good an excuse as any.

Ok, I didn't say a thing about Numrich and don't care.
 
Numrich is the place you might want to take a look, they do carry Wolff spring products too. Last time I ordered parts took about 3 weeks to arrive from the states.
