I'd go for the Glock, buuut- I'll need a celery stick to go with that. Too bad the Swiss Classic Greens are bye bye now... And the green furniture C7s... What's left? I guess a green GSG 16!
I shoot my 320 better than I shoot my glocks... I think. Thanks why I went Sig, it also wins on modularity. But as far as looks go, I think the Glock wins (Said no one ever)
Sig, hands down! And I have experience with Glock and P320. Plus as I posted above, the grip angle is way better with the Sig. As has been said on this forum a while back: 'it is easy to shoot a Glock...poorly'.
19x never made sense to me.....certainly in Canada
Short top end is jumpy with poor site radius and more blast with less velocity....weight bias in the grip vs top end .....makes zero sense
A 17 is a better shooting/handling gun all day long.
IF one was looking to reduce the dimensions of the gun for carry a G17/G19 hybrid makes way more sense....G19 grip with G17 top end.
Carry dimensions are far more relevant to the gripframe length/width cumbersome protrusion etc than the top end
All this said...hard to knock Glock off its perch for a totally evolved proven design....looks...well they are all fugly as hell plastic souless tools so a wash there
Modularity is a good concept...especially for military or police enviroments...and Sig is certainly a jugernaut of engineering/quality
IF I was looking for a carry tool ...and could have what I want...I would procure a Glock Gen3 design with a G19 grip without finger nubs and a G17 top end....medium grey colour
For range/competition use....plastic pistol wouldnt even be a consideration....all steel 1911 format thank you
Many rounds thru both, if going for just “feel and looks” Sig wins that (grip,trigger...), but functionally Glock19x outta the holster and rounds on target wins easily if being timed, (faster reset, smoother reloads).
I am quite fond of the peanut butter guns. I bought the 19X and FN509 tactical at the same time to see which one I preferred, I desperately wanted to like the FN better but ended up only keeping the 19x.
It is better balanced, follow up shots were faster and glocks just fit my hands better than other handguns. Haven't shot the M17 yet but it seems much closer to the FN in terms of bore axis, grip size/shape etc... so I doubt it would beat out the 19x for me.
