I am not a 6.5 anything caliber hunter but noticed today how many people, have their 6.5's guns up for resale 13 right now! has the glamor wore off? Just seems I see them come up a lot? Wondering what's up?

I doubt it very much, it is probably just because there are lots out there. There are still a pile of 300's,308's, .223's etc for sale as well.
The 6.5 Creedmoor has been out for more than a few years, it's more than just a passing fad.

Bought myself a 6.5 cm for Christmas and so far I'm happy with the way it shoots and like the mild recoil.

The real test will be this fall when hunting season rolls around but from all the youtube videos I've watched I'm sure it will work well on deer and maybe just maybe on elk with a well placed shot.

Yes, everyone has decided to move away from one of the most successful new cartridges introduced in the last 50 years. It's done, over. Nobody is making ammo for it anymore either.

People buy and then they sell. Why? who tf nose ...

Here's CGN: mounted but never fired = lol, never hunted just shot at the range - lol, I have my eye on something else - lol et al

Buy it, or don't buy it

Sell it - don't need a sob story

I DO know that with the popularity of the 6.5 Creedmoor combined with the worldwide Covidiocy that prices for 6.5 ANYTHING are ridiculous. I truly hope everyone gives up on the Creedmoor so that all of us with 6.5x55 swedes can find our bullets at a semi-reasonable price again! I was about to pull the trigger on some when I stumbled across two boxes that I had stashed about 8 years ago......thank GOD.

I swore I would never buy a 6.5 creed because I am a 6.5 swede fan, and ballisticaly they a the same. Then one day I was offered a browning X bolt with Tally's at a price only a fool would pass up, first load I tried was a sub moa out to 300 meters with 140 hot core's so its now one of my favorite hunting rifles. I am noticing brass life is long with the creed and it doesn't seem to require trimming as much as the Swede.

I bought 1500 6.5 bullets and enough H4350 to load them 2 years ago...I'm still good for this year :)

Also , everything goes through a run, take Glock for example, ah never mind, bad example… lolol

The components problem is really the only shortcoming to me. It doesn't cross over with other calibers I've had in my inventory all that well. Common powders would make life easier. And brass, bullets etc.

Not so much a problem with the caliber/cartridge itself at all.

Like most shooters who started with the 6.5x55 back in the '80s, I always thought that the 6.5 was a bit of a chore getting what we wanted when we wanted it.
I've been hoarding brass and buying bullets anytime I came across a good sale at the White Elephant in Spokane.. This was before the new fangled 6.5s on the market now.
It's a great round, but there's always the .223 and .308 to play with when you run low on the 6.5 provisions. You can always find stuff for those two.

What chamber are you shooting the Swede in? If it's a 96, I only neck size beyond the first 'fire forming' shot in my 96. By not full length resizing, I don't trim my Swede brass any more than ones from a modern chamber.
