OK, The Commie Games and all that but fellow Canadians will be engaged in shooting competitions there and the CBC seems to be saying they will cover them. Here's the official schedule of events and below that is the link to the CBC site where we should be able to see them?

If they do it, looks like some early mornings but I can stand it.

EDIT: IT LOOKS AS IF THE SHEDULING HAS CHANGED SINCE THE ORIGINAL POST, AND IT CONTINUES TO SHIFT. GO TO THE LINK FOR THE LATEST INFO. .

Link to video appears once event begins.

Last Winter Olympics I saw the biathlon shooting mostly on 'other' streaming services but have yet to find such a source this year. If you do, please post.

For the most recent summer Olympics, CBC website made available about half of the events. So I wouldn't get my hopes up on finding all of them on their website.

The links do work. Got up at 04:00 my time and am watching the women's 15 km Individual. The link didn't work directly, it brought up the CBC's feed and then I had to pick the event down at the bottom. Lots of misses in the standing position, you might wonder if they've all picked the wrong ammo.

It may be remembered that a miss on the shooting meant a ski around a short loop course, but now it means you lose a full minute on your time. This has brought shooting back as a vital part of the competition.

Looks like it's Germany, France and Norway for medals. Canadian women finished 33, 67,70 and 83 out of I think 86.

Remembering the great Canadian ski shooter Miriam Bedard, who went in to this Euro dominated event and came out with a bronze in France and then 2 golds in Norway.

And to answer the question from above, the times are Eastern Standard time zone. If someone knows of a way to record from a streaming feed, please post the info here. Not that I don't like a good early morning.

Again going back to the most recent summer Olympics, the 50% of events that were available I referred to above, were available for later recorded streaming on the website. I didn't try watching anything live.

At this point, I wouldn't go anywhere near the CBC. All of the spineless countries should have all banded together and boycotted the olympics .

Amazon Prime Video is also archiving and showing events.

I agree that we should not have participated in the China Olympics given their treatment of our citizens and theirs.... and the lack of honesty and transparency on covid.
