BSA Hunter / Regent Trigger

I had one, nice little rifle and highly under rated in my mind. I don't think you will find a trigger aftermarket. Maybe take it to a good gunsmith for some hone work if the trigger pull doesn't suit you?

I recently purchased a BSA Majestic in the 30-06, however I don't know if the trigger is the same as your rifle. My trigger was similar to a two stage, therefore I had Henry Rempel remove the two stage to a one stage, also he reduced the trigger pull weight. I had this conducted because I could not locate an aftermarket trigger. There are gunsmiths who can rebuild triggers, just have to locate one.

Are they not adjustable? I just picked up one off the ee. Should be here in a few days.

From the research I've done they can be adjusted to be a two stage or single and are pretty nice when adjusted properly.

They are a very nice trigger that as you mentioned can be set for single or two stage pull. On a 60 year old gunky trigger just blast them with spray cleaner and lubricate.

The sear engagement on this trigger is however very easy to screw up as it will lighten down to the point a good bump on the butt may set the rifle off. Additionally if the sear is too light and the trigger is pulled with the safety engaged it may well fire when the safety is let off. .
