Hey CGN,

We currently have 3 options for stock mounts with our Lynx 180B, what other options would you like to see us make?

Current offerings:
  • AR Carbine,
  • 1913,
  • Magpul Yugo Zhukov

(Before someone asks... We're working on uppers. We are waiting for some material to arrive.)

Judging from what I've seen on CGN, two options jump to mind:
ACR folding stock
VZ Stock

Does the Spectre Ltd. Galil style stock for the MCR/WK install in the Lynx? It looks it involves a Allen key bolt in the A2 index hole that may not be present on the Lynx. As these stocks are present on OEM MCRs as well as aftermarket upgrades, having a mount that fits them would indeed be useful.

Stock adapters for other lowers do not work with the Lynx 180B.

I realize the Zhukov is the preferred folding stock with its variable length of pull. But there are certainly people out there who prefer the Galil look, and also those looking to upgrade their lower who already who may choose the Lynx over the alternative if a mount was available for their Galil-style folder.

Can you please make a stock mount with the mcr rear take down pin hole. I can’t see an upper receiver lasting that long with that heavy bcg slamming around.

I think they are trying to have us all buy their setup and ditch our currently owned systems. Not smart or nice. They’re making it hard to ever want to buy their products. It seems on purpose they are leaving us out in the rain. No biggie tho. I wish SB great success.

This is not the case. The reason we don't make a stock mount for the MCR rear take down pin is simple:

1) It's not a standard AR-180B part.

2) If we make a mount, it will add unnecessary weight and length to the receiver.

Just pop the pin out. It takes like 2 seconds. It doesn't really do anything. We're not leaving you out in the rain.

I use an MCR upper for my 3 gun rifle. It's totally fine without the pin.

If enough people really want it, we can do a carbine buffer tube mount that support the MCR take down pin. But, it's going to add probably 0.5" OAL to the gun and some amount of weight. To get a proper stock height we need to move the entire buffer tube back behind the pin. Currently the pin would intersect the threads.

I’m hoping for this exact mount pictured but with the hole made for the pin. Not a Carbine buffer tube Assembly. The folding aspect is what we’re after on this beefcake.

Bro I just want something that’ll easily take A2 magazines so I can larp as if it’s fallout new vegas out there innawoods

Meant to say a2 hardware/stocks. Big derp.

Does the A2 stock adapter from the other straght-pull .223 manufacturer work on the Lynx carbine buffer tube module and LPC? If so, SBI should either buy some to resell or make their own version.
