Win 94s (Miroku) seem to be readily available in 38-55 but scarce as hen's teeth in 30-30 - actually non existent. I guess there is history or nostalgia with the 38-55 but not desirable from a practical perspective and they don't seem to be flying off the shelf. No one seems to have any idea when stock on any of the (I believe) 5 current models of 94 in 30-30 will be available. Frustrating. I'm hoping for some positive news soon but not too optimistic.

Just wonder if anyone here has some insight into this availability issue.

I remember seeing a couple of new Winchester 30 30 on the shelf at a sporting goods store.
I believe they were $1400 +

That was about 3 months back.
I’d say they’re still there.

HI; The Miroku Winchester in a fine machine. They are a bit different in design from the non Miroku ones. Coil springs, different spring brackets inside, A bear to put back together after you/I drop the lever to change to a lighter hammer spring. Took the parts to a gun smith to reassemble. Perfect smooth well machined parts, smooth cycling, shoot's great.
As a Marlin purest I love this Winchester.
The 38-55 has a tight bore, closer to .375 I think. 38-55 can be had for brass, dies and bullets. A bit of a coinsures cal. for those serious to live with.
Yes the cal. is a PITA but fun. Wolf makes a hammer spring kit, I put in the softest spring and it hammers the primers fine.
SPECIAL note; Take a picture of the hammer spring bracket BEFORE removing's to change hammer springs as It can be reinstalled: upside down ; and still work. I KNOW!

Have you ever heard of Prophet River?
Clay will either find it on his shelf or find one for you in quick order.
Btw, Clay and his company are site sponsors....
Top notch service too.

Thanks for the kind words. However, in this case, we are in the same boat as everyone else, there is just no 1894's in .30-30 to be had, at least not in a Winchester)

If I was going to buy a win 94 replica I would buy one of the Uberti 94 s ,they are a quality gun and don t have the added safeties just the original half #### safety.Prophet river has a Taylor’s Uberti 94 sporter ,26 oct barrel in 30/30 in stock. This gun is more similar to the pre 64 winchesters.
