2020 Antelope back from the Taxidermist

I got to pick up my 2020 Antelope the other day. First animal I have ever got shoulder mounted. When I was skinning I was in full autopilot and sloppily cut up the neck like I usually do before I realized what I was even doing. Taxidermist had to do some repairing, but it's not super noticeable, thank god!

What beautiful animals antelope are!

i don't think that ever goes away, i've had several and they all smelled to the day i got rid of them.
my brother keep his, he shot a alberta record that year, i think around 19 1/2", that's close to 30 years ago, still stinks.

You need to remove the two scent glands in the cheeks from the cape before mounting it. A lot of taxidermists who don’t do many antelope miss them, and they will continue to stink.
