I stumbled upon a sweet sweetsixteen.
A 6S.
Ribbed and in excellent shape.
Bawrill stamped *, so full choke.
No sling eyes.
No cracks.
The ring info label is still legible.
Light coloured stock set.

So using the firearm condition as good to excellent,
where would a market value be as far as kerch$ing?

Sorry, no photos.

Does it say Sweet Sixteen on it?
Letter prefix and serial number needed to date it, or the "lettre annale" in the Belgian proof marks.
Within the first run of "A" serial numbers in 1953 there was no distinction between standard weight and Sweet Sixteen - except for the milled holes in the barrel ring, and lightening of the receiver and butt stock.
The second run of "A" prefix serial numbers in 1958 were lightweights.
"S" prefix serial numbers are Sweet Sixteens.
Pre-WW II Sweet Sixteens are 2 9/16 chambered, unless altered later for 2 3/4 inch.

It’s 2 3/4”
Ring has the three holes
I believe it’s nee 1966

I have almost made my mind up and gitter.

Was hoping to get some idea of value.
