Any reviews of the BCL Bison out in the wild??

Can't ask for more than that. Nice.

Thanks that is from my Savage but it is way heavier than my Bison.

Only played at 48 yards with the Bison, with the bipod, scope was not my preferred 24 power MRAD, so even at only 48 yards my old eyes did their best using a 6 power Bushnell with a post reticle.

But my Bison is showing promise.

Seen many with more expensive rifles happy with a Loonie sized group at 48 yards, not me though.

Mine really tightened up after I got rid of that flimsy plastic stock. Made a huge difference. Would highly recommend the upgrade if it's within budget. I use a 24X Riton Conquer X1.

How did you have a 'flimsy plastic stock' on it when it comes with an aluminum chassis from BCL?
Further to the first question, since when is MDT making a skeleton stock for these things?

Or do you have a different rifle?

Yeah, I found a brand new MDT Skeleton butt stock online and bought it. Replaced the flimsy plastic Magpul butt stock that it come with from the factory with the MDT one and the rifle feels solid now. Even managed to sell the original online to cut down the overall cost of the new butt stock. So a win-win overall.

It's possible that skeleton stock, weighs more then a cheap plastic AR stock, if it's less it's probably not enough difference to notice.
The main benefit of that stock would be the solid feel, micro adjustable comb, length of pull and recoil pad height.

The MDT Skeleton stock is heavier than the plastic Magpul stock/tube that it came with. So, in answer to one of the questions, yes the gun is heavier now and a bit more balanced. It feels more robust, front to back. The adjustable comb also helps me get centre with the scope cross-hairs.
