Berger Bullets for Hunting

X Curve. It packs weight extremely well.

SG was my first choice, Exo being second but I had read they had some frame issues with their K3's.

I ended up going with a the newer Kuiu Pro system based on reviews over on Rokslide. That and I got it during one of their rare sales for a decent price. So far it carries well and I've loaded it with #60+ lbs for training hikes and put on 50kms plus each of the past two seasons with no real issues. I just need to round out my packs as I don't have a smaller Ci for short day hikes ie; 18-2200 Ci as I typically run either my 3000 or 5500 Ultras.

You need to be one tough mother to carry a elk or moose bone in quarter for any length of distance. I don’t care what pack you have that’s a back breaker.

You want to save your back? Use a tump line!! Train with it and you will never leave w/o it!

Yeah that’s an alternative all right.

Berger VLD Hunting. “Recommend for Target. Also Excellent for Target”

I don't roll-the-dice with questionable bullets, especially the kind that start with the letter "B". Barnes and Berger never touch my hands when reloading; besides, I'm very loyal to Nosler, they never let me down.

You are up to the same silliness as usual. I’ll let the folks who have killed dozens or even 100’s of big game animals handle this one.

So based upon your comment, you obviously haven't? So you don't personally know what you are talking about... Yet you have the audacity to assume I haven't.
There are just too many truly ignorant people in the world.

Can a backpack be too good, too big?
Asking for my lower back...

Probably best to start an alternative thread in either the Hunting or Gear sub-forums on this. It's a wide topic that can cover alot, from packs to off-season training/conditioning. I'm in if there's one started

Berger VLD Hunting. “Recommend for Target. Also Excellent for Target”

Heh, had to go check my boxes of Bergers on this. Seems to be a print error that got overlooked as all mine say "Recommended for Hunting. Also excellent for Target" on them.

I used Bergers this year and it did drop a large whitetail very easily. I have no doubt they can kill the animal
Issue I had was it penetrated and disintegrated. Had the deer into the trees I would have had no blood trail to follow.
I want a bullet that will make a pass through and allow for that blood trail
It was an accurate bullet, great bc and I know guys that love them. It just wasn’t what I was looking for

You will love the barnes T-TSX if you havent tried those already!! Do exactly what your lookign for.
