randyhub CGN Ultra frequent flyer Rating - 100% 66 0 0 Location Calgary Mar 3, 2022 #3 If it is a factory short barrel and over 26.5 inches overall it is non restricted. My Savage .17HMR has a 16.5" barrel, the .17s whizz along just fine and destroys gophers. My 5.56 bolt action is 12.5".
