Pump Action Renegade

Looks interesting but necessary ? I put a strait pull Renegade together lately and it is fast and easy to get aimed shots off . Other than the I can fun factor not much to be gained in my books. But nice project hats off to you.

Do you think it’s possible to drill a small path for a charging rod to be hidden in the hand guard? Much like the Troy par?

That’s what causes issues with the Troy…Because the action bar is in the centre of the gun (and thin), an uneven pull can slightly twist the bar and hang up the bolt.

I thought dual action bars (like a pump shotgun) would be a better solution but this setup looks much more difficult to “twist” than the Troy.

Just needs another action bar on the right side, with a dog leg at the bolt to keep it below the ejection port.

This conversion kit would make the MRA much more appealing, IMO.

If you find a way to put a second bar on the other side you will fix the flexing issue and prevent possible binding of the bar.
