The Remington Model 870 All American Trap

Just arrived!
1000 of these built between 1972 and 1976. This one built in 1973. Used but not abused. 30" full choke barrel with nice wood. Enjoy the pics.

I had one of these a few years ago. Bought it from a fellow shooter who then begged to buy it back---so, I sold it back to him. It shot well---the comb wasn't too high for me.
I wonder if you have this very gun---its the only one I have every seen and it was in pristine condition.

This one came out of Epps. It was listed with a few other Remington trap guns, I’m assuming an estate or older guys consignment. It isn’t pristine, I’d rate it very good. So did Epps. Priced it to move; I’m not disappointed. It fits with my Remington 870 shotgun collection. If I find a nicer one I’ll be lucky.
The trigger shoe was an aftermarket add on.

Ballistic Specialties made this trigger shoe. Not sure if they still make them. It’s quite nice on this gun. Dry firing anyways.

That might have been mine on the ee if it was a couple of years ago. I shot it a couple of times and I liked it but I had other trap guns that I like better so it found a new home.

Could be it was a few years ago and I looked at it very hard at the time :)
It was fired if I recall the one I seen which is why I didnot pull the trigger since it would have been a collector piece for me
I still have my old 870 TC trap for banging modified per the day, forcing comb. porting, stock work etc etc complete with a 30" and 34 " trap barrel :) both factory remington
Can we say ink spots when I can hit them :)
Cheers
