Hey all, has anyone found and used any shotgun chest rigs they would recommend? Even better if currently in stock!

SOE micro or cop rigs would be great but seem to be sold out everywhere.

Thanks,
Ryan

Dump pouch or a large water bottle holder is probably the best way to go.

Or there's this, its exactly like the soe cop rig , except its 7 round not 6 , I think thats because it's suppose to go with a ksg shotgun.

They also make just the pull out pouches for Mollie gear

While not a chest rig, I really like my Olongapo Outfitters Shotgun Grab N Go bag.

I have a Tactical Tailor breecher vest - 3x M4 mag pouches on the right, 24 elastic loops for individual shells on the left, a couple of reasonable sized general purpose pouches and a hydration pocket. There's a cover that goes over the loops that doubles as a dump pouch. I really like the cards from Vang Comp, very minimal and very stiff easier than Esstacs for coming out of a pouch. 18+24+6 is a lot of shotgun ammo.

I've used a Tactical Tailor chest rig for a while now. Coyote brown with OD Green pouches. Not just for shotgun use though but it has a dump pouch that holds 25 to 50 shells as well as three or four mk12 12 gauge mags and a few 511 shotgun cards are attached. I also have a spot for Kriss Vector 22lr mags and AR type mags.

thats what im trying out right now with a molle chest rig.

i wanted to try something dedicated and high speed for a shotgun loadout, so i opted for shotshell-caddy's and velcro-shotcards(in the flap pouches).
rig is up to 54rds currently lol..

If you can hold out, get a SOE Micro Rig. Worth the wait.

Great quality and very compact.

Presently mine holds 73 rds of 12 ga (52 00 buck, 21 slug), plus room for accessories. Heavy, but one stop shopping to accompany my SG.

Who sells SOEs? TIA

I can’t seem to find a Canadian supplier. I bought one from DS Tactical and a second from Brownell’s but neither lists them anymore.

John from SOE is a d!ck. Martin dropped the line because John would want all the money up front and deliver the product a year later. SOE is great kit. John was way easier to deal with when he first started. Over the years his attitude has changed dramatically.
