Reloading 350 Rem Mag

I foolishly thought that Wholesale Sports would always stock 350RM brass, so I only bought a couple of bags. I have since bought a Lee RGB 7mmRM in case I have to make a forming die. Instructions are on the web. I would rather just pick up a couple of bags.

Bought a rem 660 years ago. Gave up, sold it, after taking nine months to acquire brass, took a few months to get dies.

Reloading isn't rocket science. Simply learning a process and attention to detail. No different for 350 mag. The process of.developing loads is a hobby and pastime just like shooting and hunting.

225gr TSX results today

  • 225gr TSX / Re17 / Nosler brass / Fed 215
  • Re17 charge increased to near max 2900 fps mv
  • no excess pressure signs could increase further ;)

I load 63 grains of tac under a 200 grain ttsx for 2940 fps in my ruger m77 22" barrel. It has taken 2 bull moose and a bear under my ownership with excellent results, next to no meat loss.
I have a decent amount of brass but have a form/trim die(took 1 year ordered from brownells lol) incase I need more

You might be able to help others out with that form/trim die??For a small fee ?I don't need any but it seems 350 brass is hard to find these days.I ended up with enough to last me when i bought my 1st 350 .Lucky i guess.

350 brass comes up once And awhile. Im up to 8 bags now. Should last me for awhile, seeing as I fire about 9 shots a year of 350

Way more than enough. Seriously, for a hunting rifle, how many brass will you need in your lifetime? 50? Maybe 100? It isn't a target rifle or a plinker.- dan

tree-fiddy is notoriously hard on brass. I have had multiple factory rifles in that chambering from both ruger and remington and after three full power firings they're not long for this world and I used to relegate them to 158gr pistol bullets with unique and squeeze a few more plinker firings before the scrap bin.
I'm sure others will claim double that but it hasn't been my experience, keeping in mind I only ever have used Remington brass.

Annealing should help solve that, as will neck sizing. I'm on my third 350, great cartridge. - dan

We prefer "packrat". Doesn't sound as mentally ill. - dan

I had a M600 in 350 Mag.

Still kick myself for selling that rifle.

Someone on here was lucky recipient.

It loved Max load of IMR-4320 and Speer 250 grain Spitzer .....that was a great load and great performance on game....a REAL stopper.

Not sure why the Speer Spitzer doesnt get more love?

I don't know, it's a great bullet in the 350/35 Whelen. 600 is a great bush rifle, mine went to my step brother in Alaska. - dan
