Bullets are now ammunition and cannot be shipped says Tenda

OP your thread title is a little deceiving.
It has nothing to do with Tenda...and has everything to do with the Cdn Gov and UPS rules.

Here's my last buy from Tenda and I couldn't be happier.

You had .22 live rounds shipped to you. We're talking about Lead with a copper coating - no primers or powder involved.

I literally just received a message from Tenda that my Bullets (3000 9mm 124gr HP) are being shipped by UPS. Tracking Number provided but of course it won't be usable for another week or so....

Thank you for the clarification. I know the difference.
The fact is the title says
"Bullets are now ammunition and cannot be shipped says Tenda"
I'm pointing out they can be shipped, not the fact the Turd is classifying metal projectiles as ammunition.

It seems the issue is if in your area its actual UPS delivery or if they farm it out to 3rd party companies for actual delivery ! for some reason an area with over 100,000 people and the largest oilfield, agricultural and forestry production in Alberta is not a market UPS deems interested in doing business with. So if you have actual UPS delivery apparently you can get delivery of your hazardous explosive shipping materials like inanimate metal objects that are pointed

I had the same issue with some projectiles I bought from a Ontario "auction house" online. They use UPS and would not ship because the FOUR, UPS outlets here in Medicine Hat are NOT, UPS "stores". SO ..... long story short the "auction house" LOST $1000. dollars in sales. And I got my supply of projectiles from a different source. (In Ontario). Who were more then happy to ship me the products. Truth be known this is a slow death by a thousand cuts from our "Progressive" masters, to slowly choke the life out the firearms industry here in Canada.

To bad CIL was not still in business, the Liberals' would be falling all over themselves to prop up yet another failed Quebec business.

Case in point, I just received 3 boxes of Nosler bullets, right to my door from Canada Post. I refuse to believe that the Libtards have outlawed shipping for bullets.:HR:

All good my friend...

Hate to even bring it up...but wonder how long before our banks or worst Visa, won't let us use their platform to support our habits.
Imagine that....

Correct.

Well my order just flagged for me to "contact them": I have called repeatedly today (no one answers the phone??!) and no replies to my emails either.
I figure by the time they get around to replying the bullets and powder I tried to order will be gone....

That's the issue with ammunition, explosives, and powders, sure. That I understand. But anyone can ship bullets. There is no reason UPS shouldn't be able to pass along a shipment of bullets to a contracted carrier.

Calm down, here's a more up to date link. And everyone is doing what they can. Patience.

The Fast Facts on Our Shipping Challenges
It’s definitely not news that shipping has been a major hinderance on firearm and hunting businesses across Canada. (as well as Canadians in remote or rural areas!) CSAAA has been working hard to come up with a better solution.

CSAAA has been working hard to come up with a better solution.

Here are the “fast facts” to bring everyone up to speed on where we are at…
– Most shipping companies in Canada outsource to Canada Post to get items to the rural and remote areas.
– Larger shipping companies have no incentive to ship products to rural or remote areas as it would not be profitable for them.
– Canpar halted shipping ammunition as they believed it was too risky.
– UPS will ship ammunition, but only to “Brown Truck” areas, (which are typically urban areas).
– Canada Post is not yet licensed to ship/carry ammunition. Canada Post’s union believes that shipping and handling ammunition is too risky and dangerous for their employees. Canada Post states “Bullets, cartridges and other ammunition are dangerous goods and cannot be shipped through the mail.”
– As Canada Post uses a lot of aircrafts to ship parcels, and ammunition cannot be shipped by air, this presents an even greater challenge for them.
– CSAAA was successful in getting the UN to allow smaller quantities of ammunition to be shipped to make shipping for businesses more appealing.
– CSAAA is lobbying with Canada Post to allow ammunition be shipped, as this is our best bet for national coverage.
– CSAAA is also in contact with Native Affairs Canada, as hunting is a human right for Indigenous Canadians and the inability to receive ammunition challenges these rights. Canadians living in these remote areas also often rely on firearms for personal defense against wildlife.
– Approximately 25% of the country cannot receive business-to-consumer ammunition shipments.
Please stay tuned. This will be a lengthy process, but we will provide updates as they become available.

I honestly think that the stuff that weighs a lot will cost more to ship now that there has been an increase in fuel charges so they're passing on the cost to us. 3 bags of bullets (what I usually order a month) is like.....heavy...

Tenda needs to take the "Free shipping" deal off of their heavier items because it's gonna come back and bite them. This isn't "Free" anymore.

I've been ordering bullets from several cgn dealers over the past couple months including a current order in transit.
I didn't have to provide a PAL at any of the online stores I shopped at and all of them have shipped via canada post.
Primers and powders are of course a different story.

I bought two bags of campro bullets a week and a half ago from Tenda and haven't got a shipping note yet. I selected canada post and not UPS
I'll have to message them and see whats up i guess

So tried to buy some bullets for reloading from Tenda been waiting for 2 weeks for the order to go through, Finally they get back to me and tell me that they cannot ship ammo and reloading bullets are now considered ammo so they cannot be shipped by UPS.................... H

Can still SHIP by Canada Post I just got some - RJ
