Help me locate a Mauser part?

I've just noticed that the front barrel band of my Czech made Israeli Mauser is missing its retaining pin. The hole is chock full of crusty preservative so it hasn't been present for quite some time. I am having a devil of a time finding a replacement however, all the usual suspects online seem to be out. Does anyone know where I might find one?

There are two pins, short one and a long one
Short one holds the bayonet lug
Long one hold the band over the bayonet lug

Yes, it is the longer pin for the band I need not the lug.

I agree, just find a metric drill bit of the required diameter and use the shaft to make a pin.

I still have not completed, but similar issue here with a Numrich reproduction stock for an M1917 - no retaining pin for holding the band on the fore stock, although the hole is already drilled. I was able to buy an "aircraft" bit from Amazon.ca - is correct diameter or tiny smidgeon large for that hole - very long shank - like 3" to 4" (8 to 10 cm), as I recall - long enough to do at least two pins for that stock. Of course, I can not find it right now, but that is a different issue ...

This, I have a cupboard drawer of miscellaneous gun parts and might have what you're looking for. I may also the complete band, now that I think about it....I'll have a look after work...
