Interesting story about restricted transfer

I had two transfers both ON-->ON pending, initiated on March 8 and March 22.

I emailed CFO-ON asking about March 22's. And response came back almost instantly saying they were processing March 10's cases.

So I responded that I actually have another one initiated on March 8, why is not moving and anything I can do?

A few minutes later a response came back saying he/she just assigned this March 8's case to a firearm officer, and I should see it completed by today.

A few minutes later, boom! done March 8's go the notification.

I've had similar occurrences. It's a mad house at the CFO, but whenever I am able to get through to talk to someone, they're always nice and get results quickly.

yeah, I thought it was an April fool joke until the transfer notification came a few minutes later.
I observed the same as you do. People there are generally nice to deal when calling in talking to them, but the whole system and process are just lagging and sucking.

I have a transfer pending from March 26 and still nothing.
Does anyone has the Ontario CFO # or email address?

call that 4000 number in Miramichi and extension to 7503 gets you to CFO ON in Orillia.
But 3/26 is still early. They just got somewhere around 3/22 or 3/23

According to the Ontario transfer times thread they're processing March 19-20 yesterday. We've been at a month transfer time for a while now. It's frustrating to say the least.

They are still working from home. I have nothing bad to say about the women at the cfo. The one thing is you know you’re buying to many guns when the one girl recognizes your voice as soon as you start talking
