Wk180 a2 question

New to the wk game but I want to make look old school type with the a2 handguard and carry handle. Can it be done?

The carry handle would be able to do since it'll attach to the flat top but the a2 handguard I don't know because of the piston, as well could you put a front sight gas block on the wk or no?
 
If you haven't got the WK yet, you may want to look at getting a Jard J180 build kit. This allows use of the AR-15 components for the entire forend. A fellow on Reddit resurrected his prohibited C7 build using the J180 kit, resulting in a non-restricted firearm, with a similar style handguard, https://www.canadiangunnutz.com/forum/showthread.php/2160771-Jard-Sylvestre-J180-Info-Feedback-and-Builds?p=18575262&viewfull=1#post18575262.

If you already have a WK, you may want to wait for SBI's DI BCG for the WK, which will allow the use of a gas tube to impinge the WKs recoil system in a manner similar to the J180.

Hey, Just so you know I'm getting ready to do the same build. Your best bet will likely be a WK180 Gen 2. From what I've heard, a triangle style A2 handguard SHOULD fit fine. I've seen a picture of a gent with that style handguard fitted, so it IS possible, you may just need to file out some room on the inside of the ahndguard. As for a front sight, a FSB or gasblock front sight will not work, but you can get clamp-mounted front sight blocks online - I believe they're out of stock but there are a few places that carry them.

The JARD doesn't have the right rear end for an A2 style stock. They end up looking absurd and weird with a fixed stock.
