410 Shotshells

You can reload .410 relatively easily and quickly with basic hand tools like a small hammer, pin punch and a leather punch set.

Yep but IMO buy a mec from the start since you will eventually once you get into it IMHO. Not that expensive to get set up considering what 410 shells sell for when one can find them
Cheers

Gentlemen, I shall be saving my spent 410 hulls with the intent of reloading in the future. These revolver style shotguns seem to eat ammo at a fairly substantial rate. :)

Also, Accuracy Plus in east Peterborough has a bunch of Aguila #8 target loads. I just stocked up. I can once again feed the pigs...

Can one reload any configuration (various shot sizes, including buckshot, as well as slugs) with a MEC?

What are you saying??? The press can sure reload various shot sizes 100% and hull sizes ( 2 1/2& 3") and deprime, prime , drop powder, resize and crimp my buck shot which one feeds by hand as one would with the slug. There is nothing I don't load for shotgun and sure don't do it all by hand if I have mecs to use
The op didnot mention buckshot or slugs so he can reload100% of what he needs on the mec and not by7 hand
Cheers

Suggestion by quality shells if you plan the reload the 410 like AA or remington so you have quality hulls to start with

Funny, I've been trying to sell some target ammo at $20/box. Am I asking too much?

A few months ago before the crap hit the fan I bought Rem STS 410 for $140 a flat. But that was just before the shortages . Field ammo was pushing $20 a while back . Not much to be had around these parts as of now.
