Border Services require that a firearm have an FRT number for it to be imported.

These are Mutli caliber rifles where you can swap out magwell and barrels between 223 and 7.62x39.

Although, in late 2020 there was a screenshot of the Bren 2 MS Carbine in the FRT floating around that never materialized.

Is there anyone with access to the FRT that can verify this? This isn't on Armalytics yet.

Didn’t realize that was the 14”… you’re 100% right and it’s the same reason the Tavor is god awful… pass.

The NR Bren M2 will probably be the carbine version. Not the pistol version lol. Although carbine has a 16.5” barrel which will have to be longer for Cdn market.
