QD Review - M+M M10X-Z DMR 7.62x39

A bit harsh, but I will say that from what I can tell, they dropped the DMR moniker, installed a grub screw, changed the bolt, and modified the hand guards.... possibly a better bolt handle attachment but still a work in progress it would seem.

Harsh? Not sure how else to describe these guns and im being polite. Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't they screw over some other distributers before NS took over. Also wasn't the owner an arrogant SOB that went around insulting customers and mocking them. If not I will delete the post asap.

This is a disgraceful display of free speech.

Whatever, it’s Trudeau’s Canada.

Do as you must, to foreign companies willing to sell to Canadians.

Very true. M+M is actually trying to reach out and answer questions.

Then the community just dumps on them, and the mods/admins remove posts.

I'd love to get answers to the questions, but ironically it's not M+M that doesn't want to help...

Yeah this isn’t a good look for the mods or some of the posters posting garbage in this thread. Did Trudeau get his soft girly hands into the CGN community?

A bit harsh, not completely unwarranted.... :)
Fact is their distributor in Canada is a business member here and nothing has been holding either the distributor or the manufacturer from addressing years of ongoing issues..... it's great that buddy arrived today to save the day, but a couple of minor wrinkles and he's ready to call it quits?

Work with your distributor and put some pressure on them to provide good service.

It's too bad posts from the manufacturer trying to explain issues or help owners have been deleted, I would have liked to have read them first at least. I just got one of these rifles, but haven't had a chance to take it out yet to try it, hopefully I got one of the ones that works properly. And if not, hopefully warranty isn't a hassle.

If they are as committed to customer service as buddy claimed they will be back... it's a bit ironic that customer service is being discussed in a thread sponsored by one of the best customer service shops in Canada!

:)

This is a business forum sponsored by Wolverine Supplies.

Any other businesses could not interfere with Wolverine Supplies forum, especially businesses without business account subscription.

We will close this thread, and let Wolverine Supplies determine if this thread should be reopen.

Alright, here's what I know..

This is Wolverine's "forum" on this website. We pay to have this specific forum so that we can chit chat with all of you lovely people out there on the interwebs. Now in saying that, there is something to be said about jumping into other business's forums, it's not something I like to do and if I ever do I try to make sure it's okayed with the owner of the forum.

In this case, M&M has Wolverine's full blessing to interact here if that's allowed on the website. If the website itself has an issue with non-paying "business" accounts speaking on the public forum ( actually in this case our forum ), then that is their decision in the end. From Wolverine's side, M&M can speak here freely if they choose to if that's acceptable to CGN so that these questions can be answered from the absolute best possible source, the manufacturer!

I will be re-opening this thread. CGN admin, posts have been removed and I will not be bringing them back until I have a Yes/No/Maybe-so from yourselves, if were good then they can be brought back, if not I will leave it alone.

nice.....

Having owned 4 Type 81’s - they’re a great rifle.

Having owned two m10x’s - they’re a different rifle entirely and will outshoot my 81’s easily, likely because I can mount optics. Also, ergos are better, and it’s more modular.

At this stage in my life, my firearms budget is fairly robust (mostly due to my wife’s business success). So I’m not really “butt hurt” to have had nearly every cool (in my opinion) rifle a Canadian can own in my collection at one point in time or another; HK G36, B&T, X95, etc. - Tho I do tend move on from them fairly fast, lest I become a hoarder. I do the same with muscle cars; I tend to own only one at a time, while owning a few at various times.

My point being; the M10x is a fine rifle in my experience. It does require pmags, and newly manufactured Russian ammo. Your m10x may differ, but mine was worth what I paid.

My most troublesome rifle is my WK180 - it only likes certain mags, had to have the chamber resized for 5.56, trigger is AWFUL, two bolts, three charging handles, but I still love it! I’ll buy the Gen 2 when I can find one.

If you want reliable; buy a Toyota. If you want cool; buy a Hellcat.

Same rules apply with rifles.

Don’t be be “butt hurt” when the Hellcat passes your Toyota, or when the Toyota passes the gas station.

Yeah my type 81 never just shifts point of aim by many feet randomly.

My type 81 has an optic on it and it took me all of 2 minutes to install. The safety is atrocious, thats literally the only difference I can think of between these two rifles "ergonomics". Both use an AK template for the layout of the rifle which makes the manual of arms almost identical, especially since both have a last round bolt hold open unlike the AK47.

So if I understand correctly, you're satisfied with your hellcat not being reliable because when it does finally work it will outpace a Toyota?

P.S I've owned 8 type 81's and 4 M10X so my opinion is twice as valid as yours (/S) since rifle ownership seems to be the weight you want to throw behind your opinion. I'll just be over here looking at facts.

Great response wolverine!

Now hopefully no barriers to bringing those MM posts back and getting that guy back in here to continue the conversation!

For my perspective, M+M went up a couple of notches in my book.
Wolverine went up several notches in my book,
cgn went down a few notches, because instead of talking to Wolverine, they just twittered the place and deleted everything they didn't like.

Just my perspective. I get that other people pay to be on here, and it's not fair that a company not paying should promote products, but that's not AT ALL what was happening here. I think we were making progress, then down comes the ban hammer. Just my $.02 and I don't pay to be here so take it with a grain of salt. :)

It didn't, that's the whole point. Never got more than 3 rounds off in a row. I don't need to justify what there is ample evidence for. You want to make the extraordinary claim that the M10X is as good as the Type 81 you need to provide the evidence for your argument.

So far I've addressed the points you made but you have failed to provide any counter points yourself except to question my personal experience with the firearm in question.
