Handgun Safe Question

Anybody have any comments on this particular handgun safe. I have the Sentry single gun version without the fingerprint option and it has been great. The Sentry two gun version is kind of long and skinny. Just wondering if anybody has this particular one? Reliability of the fingerprint option really isn't an issue if that's one of the drawbacks.

Thanks, Leo.

It looks like it’s meant to be flat which usually means a table. If I was going something that size I would prefer to go hidden.

I have a similar size Fort Knox pistol safe.
Mine is bolted onto the top of one of my long gun safes.
Bad guy would have to open big safe to get at the pistol safe.
Possible, but not likely.

LOL Sorry, I almost started the same way by looking for single handgun storage, when a very good friend of mine told me NOT to buy one. Because it will not take long for the second then third and so on to arrive. Just purchase one that's good for 3-4 guns as you will want to get another gun just a little bit better than the last one you bought.

To satisfy storage regulations while maintaining ease of access for the owner.

It certainly depends on where you are in your life. I am retired with no children in house. What I might think or do with regards to where I have a convenient pistol would be different than someone with inquisitive children. Add to that, where you live plays a major part in your decision.

With no children to worry about placing a pistol in a location(s) in your home ready to go might be a better option then fumbling around have a sleep trying to open a safe under the stress of someone walking aout in your home.

Bolting down a gun safe near your bed that can be opened with a finger pad makes a lot of sense for most and tested models such as the one above makes sense. I am not sure if two guns is necessary though unless you have no other safe in your house for long gun storage and have only two pistols.

What ever choice you make, when and if it ever comes to need worrying about safe storage laws or whether you may need a lawyer would be the least of your worries.

Take Care
