1967 centennial win 94 price check

The actions were not Chrome they had a case colouring / blue type Finnish so it has been buffed off or just faded there were two versions 26”bbl and 20” bbl
No color or value so used 30-30
500-$800

I bought one a few years ago for 6 or 7 hundred, my son now has it, I think Winchester was not at their best in 67, action does not feel very good when cycled and it tends to jam occasionally, I bought it for the novelty of Canada's Centennial but I knew it didn't really have any collector value. As someone on here once said every time someone had a picnic Winchester built a commemorative rifle.

Has it actually been chromed or has someone just removed the blueing & taken the action back to the white?

NAA.

As of late I haven't seen a post '64, plain model 94 of any condition, with an asking price of less than $500 on E.E., $800 would be good IMO.

He got it on trade and didn’t do any research.
I think he came out on bottom.
My 81 looks way better.. lol

I could be mistaken but I'm sure these came with a blued receiver. If this is the case the value of the one shown would be as a shooter. Whatever someone is willing to pay. ?? 5-6 hundred dollars maybe??

What is it worth? $250. Asking prices will be quite a bit higher, but they're junk rifles tarted up to be something that makes people ooh and aah.

If only... I'd buy that rifle in a heartbeat at that price.

Judging by the prices I've seen on the EE lately you can't get a 94 for under $600-700 these days without it having some rust or missing parts.

If what others are saying about the finish is true the asking price definitely sounds high though.

The only collector value would be with the box and paper work , unfired .
Up till till about 10 yrs ago, they sold piss poor.
I would say 500.oo as can't really see it.
But of course the seller will think it is 900-1000.oo
BTW these Canadian one are made but Cooey/ Winchester.

Original Canadian 1867-1967 had black chrome finish on the receiver and fore-end cap. An outfit named Cochrane & Dunlop removed the black chrome and had them brass plated. They did 1000 for Canada and 2000 for the U.S. By the pics, yours looks like neither.

Ya it looks terrible.
How cool would it be if Cochrane &Dunlop were to redo this piece in brass plated.
