I know, I’m a PITA haha.

A win 70 chambered in 22-250 just came up.
I’m always looking for a diamond in the rough.. lol

I haven’t asked if it’s pre or post 70, yet,

What are these worth ? Ballpark? Pre and post?

For $400 I’m gonna assume it’s a post .
It’s been there for a couple of days so not much interest showing.
But that’s probably due to Coyote season being shut down during big game season.
So no Coyote caliber rifles allowed during the moose season, sep-Dec.
So there’s been a ton of .223 and 22-250 on the market lately.

The only reason I’m interested is if I could make a few bucks.. lolView attachment 582669
 
Maybe it’s a good thing
It came with the bushnell scope ,leather sling and 5 box’s of ammo.
Everyone is dumping their 22-250s and .223s now, since the new hunting Reg’s came into effect
 
I always laugh at the "what's it worth " threads. If you are buying, the value is what you are willing to pay. If you are selling, the value is what you can get.
If I am looking to buy something, I don't care if others think the price is fair. That is MY choice. If I am selling something, the price I ask is what I accept as a value. Too much? Don't buy. Simple enough, really.

2021, Coyote season was from September to July, so 10 months approximately.
A Coyote license would allow you to carry some 22 caliber rifle, such as .223 and 22-250.

As of 2022 you will not be allowed to carry a 22 caliber rifle or anything else that don’t qualify for big game hunting. Which runs from September through December. That’s why there’s a whole lot of 223s and 22-250s for sale on the island right now.
I think it has something to do with poaching.

So a 55gr bullet out of a .223 = bad. But a 60 gr .243 bullet = okay. Got it. Or does a .243 bullet not qualify as a medium game calibre on the rock?
BTW, I would pick that rifle up for $400 if it didn't need a new barrel. As mentioned, check for throat erosion.

Not exactly, it’s got nothing to do with caliber.
You can’t carry a gun in the woods here unless you have a valid big/small game hunting license.
So I buy a Coyote license,which allows me to target shoot for 10 months out of the year.

But as of this year that has ended.Now,from September to December, no more Coyote hunting .
I guess their reasoning is , that guys who aren’t successful in the moose draw will buy a Coyote license and be legally allowed to carry a rifle and that they are obviously poaching.

I’ve never seen or heard of it but hey, what do that matter.
