Hey guys not sure if this is the right theread to post this but im hoping someone has some info that could help. I was at the range this weekend shooting clays with some other guys that were out there. They were shooting my clays with me through my champion wheely bird 2.0 and at the end ended up giving me 2 boxes of shells as a thanks.

Anyways im trying to find where i can get more of these shells and google isnt showing me anything.

Challenger- brass : T2
1350fps high velocity target loads
7.5 shot.

They are high brass 1350fps and ive never seen em before or maybe i havent looked hard enough

If anyone has info that would be much appreciated and if i can figure out how to upload a picture of the box i will lol

Cabelas usually has a good selection of Challenger loads, including the high velocity loads, but with the current shortages , the selection is very limited, and that won't be changing anytime soon.

My Challenger price list only shows 1 target load at 1350fps. It is called "International 24g" and would presumably meet requirements for FITASC. Challenger product # is 4005. You might google the product # to see if that helps.

Awesome thanks guys i cant figure out how to upload the picture but ill take a better look at cabelas. They are just in a normal challenger target load box just different then i normally get! Cheers!

For skeet shooting a high velocity 7.5 load is probably a bit of overkill. Most folks shoot #8 or smaller for skeet.

OP is using the word skeet loosely, more likely pasture clays - which makes the high velocity load more overkill. Not to mention the very stout recoil those loads have.

And the recoil is why many shooters avoid the high velocity loads, even though they are allowed for skeet and sporting clays.

were they orange/yellow? I'm colourblind.

Challenger makes a 1350 7.5 high brass load. was it 7/8oz (24gm)?

or possibly say "champion" instead of challenger? Clever markets a north american load by that names available in the specifications you described. There are a few around.

Cabelas Edmonton North store had a couple pallets of Challenger target loads on the floor on friday. They had a full pallet of the high velocity. They were priced at $149.90/case. I don't buy them, way too much recoil. I always grab the lite loads when they have them. 1oz at 1200 fps. It's all you need for breaking clays especially informal clays.

I do like the "easier to clean up" idea bry mentioned....lol Albeit...Some days that's a heckofa hard thing for me to do..lol

Maybe the OP's grinding em up with a semi of some kind and needs the 3dram stuff ??

I hope all your teeth are securely fashioned in your skull. Those things will rattle you like nobody's business.... overkill for any clay target shooting with appropriate choke anything much over 1200/1250 is counter productive. If I had been offered them I would have refused to take them...I shoot great many clay targets and I have no use for ammo like that. It is ok if you do...but beware of gifts ..

you can still buy 1145 fps with 1 1/8 oz shot.
have to agree with spank, that is waaaaay more recoil then i need.
there is some 1100 fps loads in 1 oz. available, and more to come.
