I have heard some newly manufactured 870s have made it to Canada. I am curious if anyone has seen any new 11-87s? I'm looking for a 20 Gauge but I am guessing none of any kind have made it yet. Sporting guns are a bit out of my realm so any insight is appreciated. To be clear I am not just looking for a new-in-box gun, I'm looking for a gun made after Remington's latest sale and move.

We have been told Canada will not get any untill spring of 2023

From what I have read and seen in the gun blogs it appears it will be the Rem Arm 870 fieldmaster supposedly a gun somewhere between an express and wingmaster for build quality . its very possible by that time they may have others in the works lets hope .

Ya think . based on what ??. New buyers best be very careful if they are looking for the original remingtons and paying this kind of money for them
Well considering they have not even made the versa max yet and the sporting was to follow that NOPE did the 870's make march ??? In fact badboy said this and I believe him on the 870

The web page shows the old remington guns in fact it shows a 28ga which they have no intention to make. Wes owns epps doesn't he
Cheers
not my words
Remington guns will return to Canadian shelves this year in 2022 , if all goes according to plan.

Following the July 2020 bankruptcy of the “Big Green,” the ammunition and firearms portions of the company were split up. The Roundhill Group was the successful bidder for the manufacturing rights and plant for Remington firearms. Under the leadership of CEO Ken D’Arcy, a Canadian, the company started manufacturing guns again last year. Its website now shows several versions of its 870-pump shotgun, VersaMax, and 1100 shotguns; Model 700 rifles; and other well-known Remington firearms.

Wes Winkel, president of the Canadian Sporting Arms and Ammunition Association, said the first 870 shotguns from the new company are expected in late March. Other guns will follow later in the summer.

Lever-gun fans should be happy to see Marlins back on the shelf in the latter half of 2022. Ruger, which purchased Marlin, said the first guns will be Model 1895 SBL in .45-70.

Based on it being a new firearm. You are suggesting that Ellwood Epps is selling new old stock shotgun, with no warranty, as "NEW"??

I am suggesting you don't know the status of remingtons today and won't take the time to research it or believe Wes's comment from the end of march 2022
There is original remington and some day rem arms but NEVER will they be the same or draw the same dollars to purchase
Easy one if a new rem arms why is the pic of a 28ga?? being used by epps that they are not going to make and the manufacturer remington noted or a 25315 is a REMINGTON cat number NOT Rem arms.
Plus if a new shipment you think he would just have ONE for sale at Epps. Think about that.
Remington is GONE dude and rem arms is not the same and how do you know they are not offering a warranty just not a factory one I would say
Nothing there Epps cannot make right if something happens

Cheers
LOL I see the pic is changed and the price reduced :)

I read a pretty good and glowing review from a US outlet on the new 870.
They got into some specifics regarding the improved manufacturing and finishing techniques and it really sounds like these are almost like "boutique" Remington's. Same design same look, just revamped and built better.

I don’t really care as much as you do but just found it interesting.

Maybe if you were sitting on many dozen original vintage remingtons as I am you would also care as much
When someone offers you 1500 bucks for a 28ga wingmaster now I am all ears and eyes watching what is happening
Original remingtons are going up in price big time and even more if the rem arms products are not high quality
Cheers

Just wondering How can one build a vintage pre 1986 870 wingmaster BETTER , express for sure a lot can be done there.
My 1950 first year wingmaster is one of the smoothest and best built pump I have ever owned or shot and I have tried and still own most
Cheers

Oh, how many? Pictures??

Have no time for pics sorry it is greenhouse season ( 4 of them and 35,000 flowers right now ) wingmasters, 700's 7600 and 1100 maybe 65 or so :) and mostly small gauge and odd rifle calipers which IMHO will never be made again been saving them for 50 years. Only have one of those newer sporting models however a 28ga most of mine are pre 86 and a few are NIB like a 3 1/2 wingmaster, 2nd generation 16ga 870 wingmaster and 1100 and four DU guns some from the early 80's
Couple of my 410 wingmasters here taken out when I was sending the two barrels to briley for choke tubes. Think I have four in 410 plus a 410 and 28ga matched set of 870's

Cheers
