Assistance requested with changing Tara TM-9 pistol impact point via reloading

Maybe I should also post this in the reloading forum but....

For 3-gun competitions, I am using a Tara TM-9 handgun in 9mm (it's not a Norinco so it's on my Form 6). My projectiles are striking about 6-8" low at ~10 yards. I do not have this issue with my other pistols (Norinco 1911, Norinco NP29, Norinco N34, etc) so I think it's the firearm, not me.

I have been unable to find any replacement sights that claim to work with the Tara. Currently don't want to buy a bunch and try them out but this is a possibility.

I am using 115gr Campro projectiles. I have tried different loads of Win 231, BlueDot, AA#2, and AA#5. The BlueDot was able to get me to about 4" low.

Other than ditch the Tara and buy a different firearm, ideas on what I can do to raise the impact point of my projectiles? Please don't say "aim high" as I did that at the last competition and it's not a great solution ;-)

Or does anyone with a Tara know what replacement sights will work?

Those pointy things that hit the paper have a technical name. We call them "bullets".

Shooting low is easy to fix. Try a 147 gr. bullet and explore milder loads.

If that does not make enough difference, take a file to the range, and start reducing the front sight height.

Don't worry about the white dot on the front sight. When you have the correct sight height, paint the entire front of the sight white. Then paint it with fluorescent red. (The white undercoat makes the red "pop".)

Laughing to myself as sometimes the simplest solutions are the best. I actually have been worrying about the white dot on the front sight. And I don't have to. Will try some heavier projectiles first, but repainting/redoing the front sight is an easy fix if I can't find new sights that fit.

Have you tried new factory ammo, just to see where that prints?
Yes file is simple , unless you had a fiber optic insert.
at one time , I raised the rear sights on a colt by soldering bits of flat iron on the top of the leaf, them, flat black paint.
Some one had filed it down, instead of working the front .

This. Or compensate with your hold. I have a Jericho .40, when I shoot PPC with it, I need to aim about 4 inches high. I would call this a Neck-Hold. Each gun is different, depending on what the contractee specifies.
