Hello CGN.

I have a Ruger 10/22 barrel that is blued that I'd like to make into a brushed nickel/stainless finish. I've tried finding a stainless take off barrel but they seem very hard to find.

Anyone have any recommendations on who could do this? Willing to ship but I did send an email to a place here in Winnipeg that apparently does bike parts.

Thanks!

Or buy a silver Tac Sol aluminum barrel.
Thanks!
You could buy a small bottle of cerecote, remove the finish on the barrel and find someone who does powder coating ,to spray it for you.

I had this one done about 8 years ago.
Tac Sol barrel and a Nordic chassis .
Chassis had the anodizing removed and then sprayed with silver colored cerecote.

220 emery paper, and a polish wheel , than wax, will not really look like stainless, but cost about 2.00
I did a 10/22 receiver with a bead blaster ( sand blaster) glass beads, that turned out looking very good.
Flat finish. sand will pit too much.

With the amount of aftermarket parts available for a 10/22 somebody must make a stainless barrel for it. Simple to swap once you find one, only a few bolts.

Finding a stainless barrel in the non-bull profile is the problem. If I needed a bull barrel finding one is easy.

You know why I love CGN? I had two members of the forum reach out who had stainless barrels sitting around. I have found my solution!
