Is it easy to pin a beta mag to 5 rounds?

Hummmm
well i guess with a surefire and a green and a red laser this can be the ''best'' tactical gun ever ;)

or maybe it can replace a bipod?

i just love the short barrel ;) trying to save weight and easier to handle rifle, and then put a huge b-mag....go figure ;)

but im pretty sure its a really effective weapon...in Rainbow 6

ok thats enough, as you can see im pretty good to find the good/usefull side of every situation

im not trying to insult anybody, i know too much about the LCF ;) sometime im a victim of the LCF myself ;)

Plenty of guns/mags/acessories are desired for the LCF (Look cool factor) only and in my opinion there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. Whatever floats your boat.

SHTF.... If it ever comes....

Yeah, quite a few rounds there...

...but would you want to lug around a rig that approaches 20lbs, try 25-30 if you have multiple magazines, also HOW do you carry spare mags like that?

Personally, I'd rather have 10 20s instead.

They are listed at $395.00 each...

...Marstar 10mags = $350.00.

the ONLY logical reason to have a beta is if you've got full auto - and we all know what a disaster the f/a 14 was-

I believe this beta mag was developed in response to a requirement that the US Army came up with. It is directed to be used in a robotic prototype or EOD robot that employed the M14 and the 20 rnd mag was deemed insufficent for the intended use.
