What are the guns you regret NOT buying before the OIC?

I regret nothing, and currently have everything that I wanted pre-OIC. I maintain a sufficient reserve of hobby funds such that I typically just buy what appeals to me at any given time. That way, when something unexpected pops up I have sufficient funds to make the purchase. I can't tell you how many times the guns that I've bought have appreciated in value. That said, all it takes is an idealogically-opposed "Nanny Government" to wipe out all of that accrued value with the stroke of an OIC pen. The ongoing boondoggle has cost me 19 firearms, several of which exceed $5K in purchase value. This makes me angry and vehemently opposed to the ruling Lieberal party.

move to the country and enjoy all those banned toys,,1000's are doing it already,i still see all kinds on Minis,858,VZ being used,as well as Ar's still show up at the range, and the police dont even bat an eyelash at them, they drive right by on their way to their range and could care less,LOL.so much for the Turds ban,,

Not all of us can afford to live in a one-street town. Nor do most of us choose to. Opportunity is why the cities are still growing and the true rural lifestyle (not "cottaging" by the wealthy minority) is on the decline with abandonned prairie towns dotting Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta. Firearms are important to me, but they are far from the most important aspect of my life and are certainly not a good enough reason to relocate my family to the sticks. I enjoy visiting the great Canadian hinterland but not necessarily dwelling there. Pity me if you must, I could care less...

I wish I had bought my one and only SHTF rifle:

"the sticks" as you put it,PUTS FOOD IN YOUR MOUTH,,maybe think about that before you spew your big shot condescending crap.and rural is NOT declining, hell, the last few years people are leaving big cities in droves, and criminals move in,ya,you can keep your big city,

Nothing that I said was condescending whatsoever. You need to grow a thicker skin. Just because someone's views don't align with your own is no reason to think that they are disparaging you or your particular way of life. I know full well where my food originates and still harvest meat every year with the help of friends. The " sticks" BTW, or countryside if you prefer, has been a common reference for rural areas for as long as I can remember going back over 50 years. It is not a put-down regardless of what you may think.

Oh, and for the record I don't live in a big city. My home is well beyond any city limits and just happens to be in the Edmonton region...

This is very true for anyone with a long driveway and a good view of the main road.

With that kind of a setup, any bans are pretty much irrelevant, since by the time any "visitors", arrive, the VZ would be long back in the safe and the SKS takes it's place...;)

Unfortunatelly, most of us are not in the position to be able to afford that kind of an arrangement.

Nevermind the OIC, let's talk about what we should have bought in the 90ies

I'd rather talk about what we're going to be able to buy once the Simplified Classification System is implemented in about 4 years from now.

Lookin forward to my newly imported AK.

I've been watching the news for a long time. The freedom movement is raising it's powerful head and will soon trample the serpent of draconian tyranny if we're patient and play our cards right.

My Prophesy:

Pierre P will win the Conservative leadership race on September 10th 2022. (Only if YOU join the CPC and vote for him)
There will be a federal election in about 17 months in October 2023 and the CPC will win. (Only if YOU vote CPC)

EVERYONE, IF YOU HAVE ANY SENSE ABOUT YOU.....

JOIN THE CONSERVATIVE PARTY OF CANADA NOW AND VOTE FOR PIERRE P. THEN VOTE CONSERVATIVE AGAIN IN ABOUT 17 MONTHS.

THIS! I like the cut of your jib!

I take it you assume Bernier will win a majority government and give us back our rights and freedoms?

I take it you made a type-o and meant to say that you think I assume PIERRE P WILL WIN A MAJORITY government and

IMPLEMENT A SIMPLIFIED CLASSIFICATION SYSTEM.

How many AKs will you buy?

I was thinking, the other day, that I really regret not buying a NR XCR-M before the OIC. Then, I saw a NR Scorpion on an American forum, and thought to myself "why in the hell didn't I buy one of those, too, when I could??"

So, for me, my regrets would be NR Scorpion and XCR-M

Are any of you suffering "non-buyer's remorse" like I am?

I regret not buying an Hk Mp5 before the 1991 OiC.

Wishful thinking, but the CPC has a long way to go before our freedoms of gun ownership is restored. Once Pierre wins the leadership he needs to surround himself with like minded, unlike the Toole to far left and woke.
