This may be the wrong place, but???
Is buying lead shot in the USA a no-no for Canadians??
I know primers, powder, etc is not allowed for non-residents, but have heard that shot is OK.
Anyone know?
By experience?

It's classified as a component just like bullets primers etc ITAR controlled .
A few years back I was able to order brass shotgun hulls from the US. As I understand it, iirc, shotgun components were controlled by the US Commerce Dept, not the State Dept, and so ITAR didn’t apply and they could be exported.
Why wouldn't you buy in Canada ? Budget and TNA both have a large selection of shot one is east side one is west side.
I guess some of us are spoiled. Living near Caledonia, Lawerys or Ancaster, Hummsons.
$70 and up.
I think maybe I should just load gravel...
That goes for targets wads components loaders ammo and the list goes on and on . I am 36KM away and both outfits are great to deal with and always fair with the price . They are the reason we have some many good active clubs in the region. Yes we are very spoiled .
