Hey guys,

I mount two different red dots on the rail and the dots both go on the upper right side.

anything I can do to troubleshoot?

Generally is there a correct placement for the re dot relative to the barrel and iron sights?

Thanks!

Based on the picture, I do not see a problem

The red dot should only superimpose on the front site if you are looking through the rear sight.

The camera location is high and right of the rear sight, so the red dot will be as well.

Question should be is was the RDS zeroed properly after installation and at what distance ?

"co-witness" is a dream in most cases, especially just looking at a Front sight ONLY.. Just getting a dot Zeroed is enough of a project on a shotgun. Is this for a rifled barrel or a rifled insert ?

Some type of sport slug like the S&B through a smooth bore zeroed at 25-30 yards usually does the trick. We did this for many years on Open division shotguns for IPSC and it worked well with birdshot on steel plates and clays from 7 yards to slug targets out to 80 yards and beyond with minimal holdover if any.

Sweet dreams. Lol.

I found the laser bore things get you on paper but they're not good during daylight if sighting beyond the distance you can 'see' the dot on the target. W/O a scope that's pretty short distance - a 1-2 mm dot is pretty small at 25yds. I do it in the backyard after dark at 20-30 yds.
