Heads Up from Dlask Arms Corp.

I read they want the firearm info as well including serial number. I don't see them handing out a reference number saying such and such was approved but there being no information about the firearm. Can't just say a 'shotgun' or 'rifle' was approved to be transfered, there would need to be more specifics than that.

Doesn't affect me, I don't own any non-restricted firearms anymore. Do dee doo doo doo....

Businesses are required to keep records including the buyers information and the firearm information, but none of that is required for private to private sales.

Parts sales shouldn't be an issue, but sending your gun in to get worked on will be. Gunsmiths will also have to keep records of the stuff they touch, including for things as mundane as mounting a scope.

Thanks, come to think of it I now seem to recall something about this from when it was originally planned to occur in Fall 2021.

Thanks for the heads up but I have everything I need already. And I'm not going to partake in their "not a registry" registry either. Even during the LGR I only bought a couple that I needed and once that debacle ended I promptly sold those off and re bought the same model again sans registration. I have zero need to tell the powers that be what private property I have. Any money spent from now on will be strictly for ammo.

Wait when or how did this happen ? Isn't this a long gun registry ?

The Libs never accepted the defeat of the LGR. They have been waiting to put this in action for a long time I'd wager. The Lib big cats with their cigars and scotch are probably patting themselves on the back right now during cocktail hour telling themselves how smart they are. This is a back door registry, no two ways about it. I just hope this nonsense will be reversed one day. If Libs keep power, more is coming guaranteed.

For new sales Do stores need to Actually call in and give pal and firearm data to cfc, and get a ref number. Or just keep their own in house record?

The ref number seemed more for person to person.

As I mentioned on the other thread, you can "destroy" (notice the quotes) your NR firearm once it is in your possession. Heck you can make welder art with em if you want. No laws broken.

After May 18th I will "destroy" every NR firearm I purchase asap.

This new rule is stupid, so the solution is equally so...

Can you walk us though the process. Wouldn’t you have to report the fact that you destroyed it.

Thanks for the heads up, I'm sure the new measures will stop firearm smuggling drones from crossing the border, turn those with murderous intent into milquetoasts, and reverse all the progress freedom lovers have been making with 3d printers

Paradise is just around the corner
