As the title says, what are the options when it comes to Glock 48 trigger upgrades? Anybody upgrade theirs? If so what did you get and how do you like it? I want to upgrade mine but there doesn't seem to be much available, especially in stock in Canada.

Can't help, but I did come here to comment that my trigger is fantastic. I wouldn't dream of changing it...my G17 different.

You're happy with your stock trigger Painkillers? You don't find it a bit too heavy? I was thinking to upgrade to a lighter pull.

It's magnificent. The best Glock trigger by a mile. I shoot 1911's (mid grade, with upgrades) and my 629 has a trigger job on it and I'm not saying the G48 trigger is comparable to those, but compared to any other stock Glock that I own or have ever shot, the G48 was a winner out of the box.

Learn to rock that reset my guy, you'll be a happy gunner. ;)

I installed a Ghost Edge trigger connector, Wolff 4 lb striker spring, reduced power safety block spring, and "25 cent" trigger job. It reduced the trigger pull weight to 3 lbs 10 oz from 5 lbs or so. The hard part was finding suppliers online. Installation was easy using YouTube. Reliability is 100 % and trigger significantly smoother.

I experienced "trigger sting" on my 48 (I have medium/large hands) which surprised me. I installed a DPM recoil reduction guide rod which did not fix it, and a Hogue Handall Beavertail grip sleeve which fixed the problem.

Hope this helps.

Thanks guys for your advice, I'll keep practicing with stock trigger for now, but I am thinking about at least getting a lighter connector. Lighter connector was a noticeable trigger improvement on my old gen 4 Glock 22 and it's a very cheap and easy upgrade so why not give it a shot with the G48.

I expect the trigger to get a bit lighter and better with use as well, considering the gun is still only a few months old and less that 1000 rounds through it.

If you're just looking for the springs, check out NDZ Performance. They're down south, but will ship to Canada, and the Ghost branded stuff is reasonably cheap. I'm waiting on my order of parts from them to finish up my G34.
