I'm new to the gun world, and am purchasing my first rifle (10/22 for starters) and joining a range. I'm really interested to learn the proper technique to become a proficient marksman, are there any good guides/videos or courses that would be good to look at to get started?

Thanks for your help

I have no idea what clubs or ranges are in your area. But I would suggest that you get involved and determine what club training/coaching/instruction is available.
A 10/22 is a perfectly good .22 suitable for hunting and plinking. It can be rebuilt to give very competitive accuracy.
But until you know what sort of shooting you are going to be doing, you might want to hold off on your purchase.

For sure, thanks. For now I'm just looking to do some plinking and get a feel for shooting in general, but am looking to build good habits from the start
