Hello IRG,

Can we please get an update regarding the import of Bren 2 "Pistols" and Buttstocks that was supposed to occur by the end of this month? Thanks in advance for keeping those of us with active orders in the loop!

They are currently in transit to Canada. Have a great weekend everyone.

Hello IRG,

When can we reasonably expect them to ship?

The export schedule is on their website:
https://www.irunguns.com/us-to-canada-export-schedule

It depends when you ordered yours. The cut off date is on the 15th of each month. On their export schedule section, they provide examples that I quoted below.

“For example: if you placed your order between June 16th up to July 15th, it will generally arrive to our Canadian facility towards the end of August.

If you placed your order between July 16th up to August 15th , it will generally arrive to our Canadian facility towards the end of September.”

You have missed my point entirely in your eagerness to rep for IRG. We are all well aware of IRG's NORMAL import timeline, thank-you very much. However, ordering of the Bren2 Pistols and Buttstocks was not done IAW the normal cutoff dates, with IRG stating that ALL orders would be in Canada by end-May regardless of when placed up to 15 MAY (yes, you read that right - order on 15 May and receive by end-May). It is now the end of May, hence my specific question regarding the restricted Bren 2s.

I started this thread specifically BECAUSE the Bren 2s were not purchased and shipped IAW the "normal" IRG cut-offs and delivery timelines. And so you give us a cut and paste of the standard IRG import and delivery timelines, which we already knew verbatim...... awesome...

Lol

What’s on Monday?

Another steaming pile of further Lieberal restrictions on the lawful ownership of firearms in Canada. They are going to table new legislation such as "permanent" magazine capacity limits which will be impossible to comply with. Permanent alteration of plastic PMags - how exactly does one permanently limit those besides a steel rivet?!? How about the many grandfathered prohibs for which there are no limited capacity magazines? Exactly how are we supposed to weld up original, aluminum AR10 mags worth $200 USD apiece? And on and on it goes, exactly as "suggested " by the Poly grave-dancers to that spineless fembot Mendocino. Wait for it....

Nope. No way “rep” for IRG. Unless they pay me.

I honestly have always been under impression that the guns under their regular import schedule until you mentioned it now. I am curious now. Where on any thread that IRG mentioned it?

What an attitude geez? You are not bflies in disguise are ya?

Unless those mag restrictions are on the "pistol 10rnd" mags in centrefire rifles being now pinned to 5 no matter what and possible rimfire mags being pinned to 5 or 10 aswell now as you can double permanent something already

"All transfers have been started and everyone's Bren will be in Canada by the end of May. If you purchase one by the 15th of May we will ensure it comes in by the end of the month." See Post #183: https://www.canadiangunnutz.com/forum/showthread.php/2262785-CZ-Bren-2-MS-in-stock/page4

You reap what you sow. In your haste to contribute to threads such as mine, you entirely miss the point and simply add distracting "noise". That's why the brusque "attitude".

If what is suggested comes to past, almost all magazines would be rendered illegal. You' probably have to get something like the following from PDW: -> https www pdwsolutions com/magazines/standard-magazines/mft-223-5rd-flush-mag-blk

PDW Solutions said:
5 round 5.56 NATO magazine engineered as an enhancement of the standard Stanag design. 5 round maximum capacity due to internal limiter. The bottom of the magazine is Permanently sealed and cannot be readily restored.

Lol I didn’t reap anything to be honest. I just brushed it off as another “anomaly”.

I didn’t miss your “point” since I again said it the second time “ I honestly have always been under impression that the guns order under their regular import schedule until you mentioned it now”. Otherwise, I wouldn’t bother point out IRG normal import timeline, would I?

Honestly. This is 100% serious question. For the second time, where on any thread that IRG mentioned it?
