Absolutlely John, I phoned you guys today and was told it would be shipped out this Friday. I was so excited I forgot to ask who I was talking to.
(Just an ol' fart whose as excited as a lil' kid with his first piec of t... oooops I mean bike)

I get all my krylon paint at my local home hardware.... they have a great selection. I also get the manager to order it in "non spray" cans so i can thin it for airbrush.

thanks. ill try CT and Home Depot. not really looking for a clearcoat, since i just want a matte OD finish on it that i can touch up when needed with more of the same stuff.

Yesterday, a charge came up on my visa for approx. the cost of 2 norcs and 2 stainless oprod guides (as well as some parts from numrich.) I hope that means they're comin today. Gonna call down first thing when they open.

Edit to add: Called at 8:30 today, John confirmed that they are shipping out to my place today. Woohoo!

Called just a few minutes ago, mine will come wednesday ! :cheers: By that time, the few tools need to take it down completely should arrive too...
 
Mine arrived today. Got the first one cleaned up and made a detailed post on my impressions (overall, looks very good) in the condition thread. The second one arrived without a handguard and I've pinged Marstar on it.

Handguard aside, if the second rifle is as good as the first I think that I will be extremely happy :).
 
I know Michael's art supply regularly stocks Americana matte clear coat--don't know how tough it is but if you are really stuck you could try them out.

Plus, you could pick up some sweet-ass hello kitty stickers for your Norc to make it feel more a little closer to home ;).

Keep reading before you ask others here ! If you are not sure, then ask and many, many experienced M14 addicts will help you out with their suggested fixes that we have passed on over the years.

they decided that they will ship the single order first then the doubles after , the only explanation i will GUESS is its more efficient to ship.
 
It was posted earlier that the CFC does some transfers immediately while some take weeks for unknown reasons. I ordered mine the third week of November and it shipped last Friday, I expect to find a slip for pickup when I get home. Missed Christmas, my birthday and Ukranian Christmas, but it is here a few days before my wife's birthday, so I guess I'll declare it a birthday present for her that the whole family can enjoy :pirate:
