Building a lightweight all-rounder. I’m looking for a lightweight scope for the Sig Cross in 6.5Creedmoor. I have a vortex razor LHT on another rifle and seriously considering that. Would prefer FFP but not a deal breaker.

Any suggestions? Would love to see some community pics of the Sig Cross!

Leupold VX-3i LRP 4.5-14x50 Worked for me for a light weight build. At 20.3oz, one of the lighter scopes as long as the magnification range works for you.

Been shopping around for something similar haven't seen much better than the LHT weight wise unless you want to drop magnification and SFP.

Leupold has some nice options at 15.7oz (vs 21.7oz of the FFP Vortex LHT) which is almost a 1/4lb difference.

Looking mostly at the Leupold VX-3HD Side focus 4.5-14x40 (SFP)

Vortex razor 3-15x42. That’s what I had in mine until I sold rifle and scope can’t beat the price quality weight reticle and lifetime warranty

I have a Leupold VX-3HD CDS on my Sig Cross in 6.5 Creedmoor. I think it's about 13 ounces. In TPS alloy rings that are maybe another 2. Don't need much more than a 3.5-10 for hunting with a Creedmoor. Don't need a parallax adjustment for hunting ranges when it's fixed at 150 yards. Don't need the adjustment range of a 30mm tube even for 600 yard shots, not that I'd take one on game with a Creedmoor. Light transmission is very good. CDS makes holdovers a thing of the past and FFP gains me nothing when I'm already using a rangefinder anyways (especially since my Leupold RX1400 gives me the CDS number to dial in - no guessing).
