Newbie looking to sell pistols... help?

Hi all, thanks for letting me join. Please forgive any ignorance or gaffs on my part. I'm trying to help my dad sell some of his firearms. Primarily the pistols... I understand with the current/new laws coming into play things are rather complicated. I'm not certain where or how to go about selling any of this. We do have all the necessary paperwork.
We are based in the Greater Sudbury area of Ontario.

THanks
Mat

The state of transfers is confused right now.
You cannot sell someone else's items here. Your Dad would have to create an account and get access to the Equipment Exchange, then he could advertise here.

The 'legal' isall explained on the RCMP site

https://www.rcmp-grc.gc.ca/en/firearms/buying-and-selling-transferring-firearms

where and how you advertise is up to you

Nothing has changed regarding the sale of restricted firearms, that process is the same as it has been for years. With the exception of having to get a STATT to transport the firearm out of your home (Post office, meet someone somewhere, etc).

Get the buyer's info, call the CFC, initiate a transfer, the buyer calls in and completes the transfer, done.

Hello, the main trouble is phoning in the transfer, it is slow as hell, A couple more days , it may be better.
but as far as here, read up on the rules.

Honestly tell him to take them to his local gun store for consignment they will probably sell before you leave the store HAHA

Excellent advice . OP , get your guns to a gun store , and either sell them directly to the store , or sell them on consignment ....and do it now if you really want to get rid of them . Demand is extremely high right now .
