Milsurp Rifles and Handguns Losing Value due to Liberals

You think that even crosses the mind of these muppets? Hate to break it to you but their end goal is to see firearms outlawed from civilian hands, they don’t gaf if it takes a box mag or an en bloc or a stripper clip. They’re only looking at the fact you own a baby killing assault weapon and are a killer in the wings.

it did cross their mind hence the original exemption from the 5 rnd mag laws but as we all know that may not happen this time

Denial is a psychological defense mechanism.

When the trudeau "assault rifle ban" was still merely a campaign promise, there were many AR-15 owners declaring to me that they didn't care and weren't doing anything about it because they "knew" they couldn't be affected because their AR-15 isn't technically an assault rifle. This is more of the same.

get you medical degree in a cracker jack box?

I've played this ban game since the early 90's

I suspect price on 5 round M1 carbine mags will rise drastically and I also see the M1 carbine made Poly’s new enhanced list of assault rifles. If Poly is worried about people being shot by anyone with a carbine, all they need to do is wear a Chinese Army, Korean War era quilted jacket. All sorts of stories on the internet about how the carbine round could not penetrate it.

They don't give a F what it costs us to have a gunsmith alter these, and what it does to our valuables. In fact I am sure they LOVE the idea this makes them less desirable to own later on. Stop thinking of common sense and look at this from a group that wants us to stop owning guns one day. If they brought out a law making us paint them bright orange I would not be surprised.

It's even more vindictive than C 68. And that is saying alot.

No they won't. They haven't seized the hundreds of thousands of guns they banned and they know who has them! (Or at least a lot of them)... They'll tell you to turn it in with zero enforcement and then pat themselves on the back for a job well done while millions of over capacity magazines sit harmlessly in the possession of Canadians...

Sitting in possession …. Locked in a safe never to be seen again.

Who's going to enforce this BS, I have been a firearms owner and shooter for 50 years, hand guns, shot guns, rifles you name it.
The RCMP, city police and highway patrol shoot on the ranges next to us, never in all those years have any of us been checked for PAL's or ATT"s or anything like that, after shooting they just drive by and wave at us.
They have better things to do than to check on licensed firearms owners because they know we are not the problem

How the F is this going to work?? K31, enfield mags will have to be pinned? Lever tubes welded, 22 rotary magazines?

I hate the thought of butchering these old beauties

You are still trying to see this from the vantage point of common sense.
It is only once you look at it from the vantage point of a vindictive WEF psychopath, it will start making sense.

Their goal was never to preserve the value of your lever action (or any other) firearm.
Their goal is destruction, mayhem and total disarmament...and in the true Orwellian fashion, they also like to rub your face in it.

The old school cops are still like that, especially in the smaller communities...but they are a dying breed.

These attitudes are rapidly changing and most new(er) cops (especially in the urban areas) are now anti-civilian gun ownership.
By now, the globalist have managed to brainwash at least 2 generations, with the next one being worse than the previous.
And it is only accelerating..

If they go ahead with this limit, they will have to provide solutions. They can't say "you have to limit ### rifle" and it's not even possible. Very easy to challenge that in court.

Your estate is going to get zero $$ for your valuable Lugers when you pass.

Only if you don't educate your heirs/executors. They can still be exported. Which means don't just write up a will, write up instructions, get everything lined up and put it in the safe with the guns. Then it only takes one email/phone call from them after you check out.

First logical statement I've read in the last 24 hours.
Exactly......it's going to be pretty difficult to get compliance without specifics on how the many types of firearms are going to be "altered".

I bet they will say the conversion MUST be completed by a gunsmith at YOUR cost said gunsmith will have to file paperwork proving the work was done to rifle make model serial number ###X this way they get a new registry too

Ya, nah.....

They would need to know what I have, which they don't......for I have no guns of any-kind.

Have documented instructions for each rifle for "alterations" to supply, which they won't.......that takes too much thinking, and work.......

........and willing surfs to comply, which they will never have.

So ya, no fckn way dude.

Here's an example where the media (Canadian Press) got it very wrong. They said "Police would have new wiretapping powers to help stop gun trafficking", and despite their so called 'trusted journalism accuracy' that is incorrect.

What the Public Safety site linked above actually says is "make it an offence to alter a cartridge magazine to exceed its lawful capacity and allow for wiretaps for this new offence

So the public is led by a sloppy (or worse) media to conclude C-21 will give the authorities tools to go after gun criminals, but in reality it's to ferret out someone who might carelessly mention to a friend they have a non-compliant magazine.

Wiretaps and police resources listening to them to go after a 100 year old Lee Enfield mag? Really???
