Dark Days, Panic Buying, What did you get? What did you sell?

I sold everything. I currently cannot afford to hang on to stuff that will end up being arbitrarily prohibited and screw up my plans real good. There will not be buy back $. Looking to move to the states sooner rather than later and re-buy some cool stuff one day. I might buy a pistol in the meantime to have fun with and risk pissing away $700 or something. Godspeed.

I'm reading that Private Transfers are basically not moving at all... anyone have a Private (Handgun) Transfer done quickly?

My worry is to sell something on the EE and not get a Transfer approved for it.

I bought:

A Heritage Rough Rider 22LR/WMR 6.5" with pearl grips and...

A Ruger® Wrangler Revolver - Silver Cerakote - .22 LR at the BLOWOUT price at Cabelas for $229 plus free shipping with code "COUNTDOWN"

 :ar15:

Now I'm a cowboy LOL!!!

Sold nothing. Ordered a:

Colt 1911 Gold Cup in 45 ACP - Always wanted a nice 1911 in 45. I really wanted a WW I 1911 but they are just way too pricey.

Buckmark URX - I have the Buckmark Camper and have put 1000's of rounds through it. It somehow gets thrown in the range bag almost every time. I much prefer the grips on the URX and it might get a nice red dot at some point in the future.

Girsan MC9T because I don't have a plastic 9mm

Girsan Regard 9mm in FDE. I had the stainless full size version years ago as my very first handgun...sold it but I always kind of regretted it.

I would like to add a 357 wheel gun...looking at 6 inch Python but I just can't swing the 3000$ price tag right now. Maybe in the coming 2 or 3 months if i can find one I will jump on it. Also looking for a Ruger Mark IV Hunter stainless...I had the original bull barrel black Mark IV...sold it because I didn't like the trigger but the rest of the gun was very solid. I would like to try one with better grips and a nice upgraded trigger in the future.

Trudeau can take a long walk off a short pier.

Holy ####, I bought that Wrangler from Cabela's for full price last night. Oh well.

The only people who should be buying are those who live in Alberta. The rest of us will have our handguns confiscated within a year or two as municipalities will have the power to make handgun ownership illegal in their communities. We will be forced to turn it over, and your conservative premier can't save you. Anyone who actually thinks they're going to grandfather their newly purchased handguns is in for a world of hurt.

Even if that provision makes it through, it was never that popular due to its obvious ineffectiveness.

I doubt too many cities will bother with it, now that the handgun market is officially shut down.

Will misappropriated turd money be given to the cities to pay for those handguns I wonder? If not, I don't see how they're going to work it short of outright theft.
