Ruger PC9 carbine Glock mags

Been wondering about how glock mags will be affected by OIC mag neuter as well since they fit in several NR rifles...

Your Ruger semi-auto takedown rifle will soon joint the list of banned firearms, just as my TNW ASR will be on that list thanks to Polysesouvient asking the Liberals nicely. So anyone owning these things will be a criminal, if they don't hand them in for melting. Given the high likelihood that I'm correct in this grim prediction, we have choices; do you want the devices you carefully selected based on their features and your wants for whatever uses to just vanish, or do you want to go the way of about 2/3 of New Zealand's firearms owners and just say no? And if the latter, do you want to have any magazines to use in those retained firearms, or do you want to manually feed one round at a time through the ejection port after you've handed in your 10 round magazines? We'll all be criminals on paper soon enough. Before long they'll be making us criminals if we own knives. Maybe even sharpened sticks. Where do you draw your line?

two answers

1) They are pistol mags so a reasonable chance they will continue to stay as they currently are
2)

Im thinking this might be the case for the 10/22 rotary mag (on 1, and 2) as I believe they fit something like 350 handguns in Canada? maybe? the reason for. the BX25 issue.

my current working assumption is that rim fire will stay as it is. (i have no inside info)

in the eyes of the unwashed masses, magazines are detachable. I would not be surprised if that was the focus of this as it works through the house.

No point in speculating...standard 10 round or pinned to 10 round mags are still legally available and useable. Until I am told otherwise, I am not going to consider other contingencies. Not gonna have future "what ifs" ruin the present.

That said, as I was just typing this, my door rang and Canada Post just delivered my latest order of various accessories...which includes 17/10 Magpul Glock mags...sweet...

Wendy's gang is horrified by the idea that a new generation of shooters has emerged that enjoys going to Urban ranges and shooting handguns and other fun black semi auto's..... their goal is to eliminate anything that is attractive to these new shooters and snuff out shooting sports and gun culture in Canada.

It's a Genocidal approach.

Like how Coral's dad did on The Walking Dead? Stick a flashlight on a .22lr pistol and it becomes *pew* *pew*? Maybe I should stick to airguns for the zombies...

I looked into air guns but those are no good in my opinion. You can buy CCI quiet 22lr but it has not that much penetration - but check out the youtube videos if you are curious. Still time for the zombies, maybe end of 2023 or 2024.

I have a fair bit of CCI Quiet, along with some Quiet Semi-Auto which runs a bit faster with an extra 5gr of mass, and a whole lot of CCI SV as my GSG-16 and 10/22 like that. Here's a clip showing the older '710fps' rated CCI Quiet going through half an inch of PVC (2x 1/4" plates), 1/4" of leather, some dense foam, covered in a couple of layers of denim, then a gallon jug full of water, before bedding about bullet-deep into Duct Seal. Should be adequate for zombies. I think they're quite fragile critters.
