Ordered mine on the 6th as well and would also like to know. I'm in Ontario so I'll be surprised if it shows up before August.

yes i have had to do that to get it in. and i also found the mags will hold 10 but prefer to only be loaded to 8

As long as the slide can be disassembled, the rest can stay. Just use Action Cleaner Spray or a non-chlorinated brake/parts cleaner and a good gun lube.

I almost forgot to ask, how is the finish of internals? Machining/tool marks? Rough as with their 1911s? Just curious, as for $ 200, you can't beat the price. I wish MARSTAR can find some Browning clone of their rimfire takedown.

It's not a Walther, but it's better than expected, for sure - By far the best of all the Norinco specimens I've owned (1911, M93, JW20, M305, 870 clone).

I think they were very good value at the original price of $300. For a $200 pistol, there is literally no comparison in Canada. And if it was American made, I think they'd probably be priced around $500, maybe more.

Does anyone know if this gun is safe to be dry-fired?
I had searched the net high and low (including the Walther Olympia as this is supposed to be a direct clone), but I was unable to find an answer for this one.

I just had the one I ordered delivered today and I dry fired it twenty times, for science. I can not find a single mark/scratch/dent/ding on either the barrel face or the firing pin.
