To BUY or NOT to BUY. Oh boy, my CC is teasing me. Maybe one last set of questions for this thread, How is the transfer going? Who got their respective transfer notice/s from the date of purchase? Which CFO is the fastest and the slowest?

We are getting tons of transfer notifications everyday, the lucky ones seem East Coat, transfers are getting done in 2-3 days. Next is AB, SK and BC with transfer time of ~2 weeks. QC and ON are closer to 1 month or more in some cases. We are committed to get transfers started ASAP to minimise delays.

Ordered on June 13 and got ref#. Nothing yet about the transfer. I'm in Ontario so taking into account the backlog I have no idea when the transfer will be completed.

Great! I'll keep an eye on this thread to see if you can get some. Seems like many people want wood grips by reading the comments.

Buy. Transfers are going. Alberta fastest Ontario slowest.

My transfer is approved and waiting for mine in the mail!!!

Super excited!!! Picked one up with my Pietta 1873 and just can't wait to get my hands on it. Everywhere these are mentioned they seem to have a great reputation, really wanted a nice sturdy steel frame 22lr target pistol and I think it's gonna fill that role perfectly.

Hey Marstar, what do you think about holster compatibility with these? I read once they fit CZ52 holsters nicely, can we get a confirmation on that?

When did you buy your Olympia? Looks like the NB CFO is quicker than the Ontario CFO. I bought my Olympia on June 4 and nothing yet.

Olympia magazine 22LR have arrived:
Made in the USA

I know the postal rates are not your fault (Canada Post rates makes mafia loans look like a bargain) but a $40 mag with taxes shipped to me in Ontario ends of costing $67 jacking the mag price up by over 50%. Pretty brutal considering the gun is only $200.

Couldn't these be shipped in padded envelopes without insurance for about $3?

I agree, why not ship the cheap stuff untracked? Even if it's $5, this makes small orders unbearable.

But in defense, you saw the price when you ordered. Did you really only order 1 magazine?

Well...like I really need another pistol...But i drank the cool aide and ordered one...if the wife or daughter likes it I will probably get a couple more...thx Marstar...you guys really do rock

Better buy that second one now, being in Ontario, by the time the transfer is approved and the pistol is in your hand, the handgun purchasing window will be long closed.
