Patience, grasshopper.
I was thinking folding collapsible stock. Or the rear of the lower is interchangeable, so you can go M4 stock, full AR stock, skeletal, folder, etc. Buy the adapter for the type of stock you want.
Mulitple ends works. It could have a pin locking dovetail like this...

This is easy to change out. Mount is inline Use AR sights. Now if it is an A2 stock and folds, even better.

ss! lol This will be my back40 Lib-eeeeeeking AR.Do you find with the XCR a little bit of "slop" or wiggle between the upper and lower? Is this normal with this type of rifle?
I like mine, it shoots well etc, but that slight bit of wiggle doesnt make it feel "solid" if you know what i mean.

I don't know much about the XCR but you can buy a rubber piece for the AR that fits in the lower reciever underneath the rear take down pin and behind the trigger mech called an Accuwedge, it reduces the play between the two receivers quite well.

And accomplishes nothing else. Best piece of snake oil sales in the shooting industry. I can't believe some ####### at the CF added them to the C7A2 as an "improvement".

However much they acctually improve accuaracy or not I like them. The wedge makes the rifle feel more solid. They were out on some A1's well before the A2's for the record.
At a cost of a couple of bucks if you buy them induvidually (I'm sure they cost cents at bulk) I don't think thats to much to pay to make a tighter rifle.

Totally normal, don't worry about it. The long, heavy barrel really exasperates the wiggle, but you'll get used to it.
XCR doesn't have a rear take down pin the the same sense as the AR, you could not do this with the XCR.
I have heard that the pressure they apply to the pin can cause excessive wear on the pin/pin holes, which will lead to *more* play.

My xcr has a little play, nothing major. Now here's a question for those in the know. If I order a 12" barrel from robarm, could I have my gun reclassified as restricted, or would it be prohib? It would be nice to try it with a 12" barrel at the range and for shooting matches, but would keep the 18.6 barrel for non-restricted fun (gophers)
Well, thats a special subject... Every modification that could change the classification of a firearms must be reported within 30 days IIRC but if you'd use the 12'' barrel on the range then switch it before leaving you could keep the rifle unrestricted. The problem is to try to argue with a cop on this one... And the fact that the CFC can't monitor these gray-area things... Wolverine gave a statement on this one, they wouldn't sell any barrel <18.6 to anybody unless its a complete restricted XCR. These are quite hard to get up here, they just don't want to screw everything up.
