Owners - Walther advertises that once you register your gun with them, they will ship out a mounting plate for the optic of your choice for free.

Is this verified on our side of the border yet? I saw a retailer offering the various plates for $110 a piece.

Walther will ship to you 1x plate of your choosing. https://waltherarms.com/optic-plate-request/. fill out the request form, submit and wait. the plate will ship from a supplier in Quebec.

While the Walther plate is nice, I run the CHPS plate for use with the Holosun 509t, I believe they can be sourced at BBC? or Gravel?

Yeah I emailed them directly about it and they're sending one out for my 507C :)
So nice to see a manufacturer offering that for free.

I am not sure it is nice so much as cost savings for them! The glock MOS comes with all the plates from the factory!

I ordered a gen 2 plate from Walther and it was passed to Gravel for fulfillment but they are out of stock! we'll see how long it takes.

Yeah Gravel has my optic plate but not the screws LOL. You'd *THINK* that if they get RMR plates, that they would just get 2 screws WITH each plate. So it might be a while before I get my Holosun mounted. Oh well. Nice that it's free.

And Glock MOS plates being included is a nice touch, although I'd take the PDP over a Glock any day of the week, especially since this gun is built from the ground up to be optic ready, where the glock is just the same as any other glock, with a slide cutout.
Looks like several other companies don't include plates either now. Cost saving BS for sure. Just include the 4 standard plate styles and then charge extra for the oddballs.

Just got tracking from Gravel for my plate and screws. Looks like they have the Trijicon stuff in stock, or at least filling back orders.

reminder to those that buy a PDP to register for the free plate through Walther!
Once I get this puppy test-mounted… might have to pull my ad down for the PDP.
